The reverse hinge design opens the pedometer upside-down allowing user to view the large (1/2" high) LCD display in the correct perspective without removing it from your waist. NOTE: Magnetic or mechanical pedometers measure levels of physical activity and they are not highly accurate. There is a +/- 10% deviation in accuracy on instruments of this type. Measurements will be influenced by the sensitivity settings, placement on the body and overall stride of the wearer. Pedometer must be placed on the waistband, not the pocket, to work properly.
